At the helm since 2018 but with the company since 2015, Nic is the guy for all things MacKenzie. A Portland native, he ventured to SoCal for college at Chapman, where he earned a business degree while playing tennis. With the racquets hung up for good, he now channels his competitive spirit into golf. When not in the office or on the golf course, you can likely find him playing fetch with his loyal pup, Jake, fly fishing on the lower Deschutes, or passionately cheering on his Trail Blazers. His main claim to fame, however, was whooping Brad Faxon in ping pong.
Ian is an adventuresome and well-rounded lad who joined our team in August of 2019. He grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in business. While he’s addicted to all things golf, in the winter you‘ll likely find him exploring areas of Mt. Hood reserved for those who take skiing seriously. Like a true Oregonian, he enjoys craft beer, but he’ll love you forever if you hand him a bottled Miller Light. He very much likes the Grateful Dead. If you have questions about an order or need help designing a bag, Ian is your guy.
Alec joined our team in June of 2021. He grew up in Illinois and graduated from Missouri State with a communications degree. A very avid golfer, obviously, and a self-proclaimed Coore // Crenshaw fan as he worked at Ozarks National in college. It would be considered normal to spot him rocking some St. Louis Blues swag while casting off the deck of a bass fishing boat. He's also got a very handsome golden retriever named Cujo. In addition to handling the finishing and shipping logistics, if you call the shop or shoot us an email, Alec is likely the one who will help point you in the right direction.
Zach is MacKenzie’s Victorinox. From lending a hand finishing golf bags, to cutting and skiving leather, ZK is there to make sure it happens right. We often lean on his creative input, as he has a knack for that sort of thing (he’s a professional sound mixer by trade). Other interests include golf exploration, fly fishing, spending time with his lovely wife, Megan, and mastering BBQ recipes. He is also an unofficial master club builder, and while that’s not why we keep him around, it’s certainly a perk his fellow work proximity associates appreciate.
Fetch is life.
Big Curtis Joseph fan.
